Description
Being a K-12 school, Elder Creek Elementary has a Chinese Immersion Program that fosters bilingual students to learn Chinese and English. The program blends Chinese and English-speaking students together. Beginning with an 80/20 model, the program starts with 80 percent Cantonese and 20 percent English and goes up from there. This Elder Creek Elementary School photograph shows the graduating class of 1934. A diverse mixture of students between American and Chinese make up the class.
