Description
Photograph of a Catholic Church in Watsonville, ca.1900. The road in the foreground is lined with a paved sidewalk which borders the dark, brick church at center. The church sits in a grass yard which is protected by a short, stone wall. An opening in the wall on the right leads to a wide staircase and through three archways to the entrance of the church. A lightly-colored trim above the archways comes to a point above the center arch which overlaps the arched, stained glass window above. Another stained glass window can be seen in the walls of the tall steeple on the left which supports a cross on its tip.
