Description
Orderly book of kept by Alexander McDougall's headquarters during his command at the Hudson Highlands. The title page specifies the book as "Orderly Book No. 9."
In 1778, Alexander McDougall succeeded Israel Putnam as the commanding general at the Hudson Highlands.
