Description
Photograph of the courtyard in front of the home of Elwood Riggs in La Cañada Flintridge, July 6, 1926. The courtyard can be seen at center and is a large rectangular space enclosed by adobe walls. Many stone paths make their way through patches of plants and flowers. Several tall trees can be seen around the edge of the courtyard, while a large fountain is visible in the middle. The tall Spanish-style house can be seen in the background at right. Its walls are light-colored and its roof is partially covered with terracotta tiles.
