Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated October 17, 1961 partially reads, "One of the musical vestiges of early California today stands in a Burbank home--as melodious and attractive as it was more than 100 years ago. The antique--a rosewood piano--belongs to Mr. and Mrs. Ted Cutter...However, the piano came into the Cutter family in 1865, when Ephraim Pierce Cutter, Cutter's great-grandfather, married a young woman from San Francisco. The piano was brought around the Horn from Boston in a sailing vessel....When Mary wed Ephraim in 1865, the piano and the bride were both taken to Sonoma in a wagon. 'The piano remained in a ranch house until we shipped it down here,' Mrs. Cutter said."
