Photograph caption dated April 24, 1987 reads, "Magic Johnson is pressured by Nuggets' Alex English near the basket, but Denver couldn't defense his 86-footer to end first half." This was the first game of the Western Conference 1st Round between the Lakers and the Nuggets. The Lakers won all three games and went on to both the Western Conference Semifinals and the Western Conference Finals, then the NBA finals, and ultimately won the 1986-87 season championship title.
