Photograph caption reads: "Rebuilt administration and library building at John Burroughs High School in Burbank is part of general school rehabilitation program in city to earthquake-proof and enlarge facilities. Burbank school system has managed to stay off half-day sessions, is devoting building program primarily to remodeling. Eventual cost of construction at Burroughs will be approximately $2,000,000". John Burroughs High School is located at 1920 West Clark Avenue in Burbank. Photograph dated: Sept. 10, 1955.
