Description
The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. Doug Mitten served one tour of duty with the United States Army, training for Vietnam, but eventually being sent to Korea, where he experienced the beauties of Korean culture and the stress and fear of the Second Korean War (1966-1969).
