Photograph of four silver altar censers used at Mission San Carlos Borromeo, Monterey, ca.1907. The two more ornate censers hang from their chains on a cloth background. The other two, both simpler in design (one is a simple cylindrical container with a domed top), sit on the cloth below the other two.
