Commemorative book tells the history of the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and its quest to obtain water for consumption. The districts major water projects are detailed, including the Owens Valley Aqueduct and the Colorado River Aqueduct. Book includes environmental photographs, portraits of major leaders of the district as well as their profiles. Letter from then Metropolitan Water District General Manager is attached at end of book.
