Description
"Fresh and Clean," sponsored by the California Dental Association, was one of the "Elks on Parade" on display during the late summer months of 2002. Each of the 26 fiberglass figures weighed about 150 pounds and stood 9 feet tall and 8 feet wide. Local businesses could purchase an elk for $3,800 and have a local artist paint it, or pay $2,800 and paint it themselves. The elks were the work of sculptor Leroy K. Siebert.
