Description
Taken from the south, this May 1956 aerial photograph captures Sacramento High School at Thirty-Fourth and W streets. Y Street runs east-west in the foreground, while Thirty-Fourth Street runs north-south at the far left of the photograph. The school's gymnasium sits on the left of the picture. The assembly building is at the bottom of the photograph, just off of Y Street, and academic buildings stand in the center of the photograph. The image was photograph by “Sacramento Bee” photographer Bob Handsacker, a 1928 graduate of the school.
