Description
The person on the left side of the photo is Emilia Rodriguez Aparicio (photo donor's grandmother) with another female who is possibly her cousin. They may be at a school graduation inEl Paso (Tex.) and are holding each others hand as they stand posing for the photo in front of a building structure. They are both wearing long cotton printed dresses that they sewed themselves. Their dresses which fall a few inches above their ankles are blowing in the breeze. They are also wearing dark stockings and have their hair pulled back. This image was provided by Vibiana Aparicio-Chamberlin for inclusion in the Foto East LA collection.
