Photograph caption dated September 8, 1958 reads, "Anita Gordon, honorary mayor of Valley Plaza, snips ribbon to formally open the newest addition to the big shopping center. Valley Plaza Camera Exchange, 6350 Bellingham, across from Alexander's Market. The third in a growing chain of Valley camera shops, the new store features all top brand name cameras and accessories. Beaming their approval at the ribbon cutting are John Price, president of the North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce; Miss Gordon; Phil Weinstein and Jack Williams, co-owners."
