Arbejde i Danmark: Menighedsplejen i Holbæk samt Kirkens Korshær, 1944-46. Udsendt af DMS til Kina, sprogstudier i USA og Peking/Beijing, 1946-47. Sygeplejerske på hospitaler i Kina, 1948-49, hvor missionærer måtte forlade landet efter overgang til kommunistisk styre. Herefter blev søster Kirsten Marie overflyttet til Tanganyika/Tanzania. Course at the Parish Folk High School "Marthabo", 1942-44. Assignments in Denmark: The Parish Aid in Holbæk and Danchurchsocial, 1944-46. Sent by DMS to China.Language studies in USA and Peking/Beijing, 1946-47. Nursing care at hospitals in China, 1948-49. Then the missionaries were forced to leave the country , after change to the communist regime. Sister Kirsten Marie was transferred to Tanganyika/Tanzania. (See also later portrait).
