Photograph caption dated October 22, 1959 reads, "Jack D. Price, right, executive vice president of Farmers Land and Holding Corp., and Eduardo Contini, architect, look over model of $25 million Van Nuys real estate development FLHC will build to include 700-room hotel, office building, luxury-type department store and apartment buildings." Edgardo Contini represents the architectural firm of Victor Gruen Associates of Beverly Hills who are the architects of the Valley International Plaza to be built on a 25-acre site in Van Nuys. The development was described in the office of Martin Pollard in Sherman Oaks.
