Photograph of a view of the old fountain at the San Fernando Mission, shown in its original location, ca.1900. The adobe brick basin of the fountain is shown at center, its spackle eroding in some areas. This basin appears to be in the shape of a clover, but the perspective of the image makes it difficult to guess at the shape of the perimeter. To the left, a sapling is growing, while tall grass fills the rest of the image, stretching to the two small hills on the horizon at right.
