Description
Photograph caption dated July 6, 1982 reads, "Carrying an anti-Reagan placard, NEA convention delegate Kathy Ristow from Illinois joins some 5,000 other schoolteachers in a march through downtown Los Angeles in protest of Reagan policies on education. The marchers stretched for 10 blocks. At the convention, which ends today, NEA leaders called Reagan the "worst" and most "hostile president" to education yet."
