Description
"Sen. Randolph Collier, D-Siskiyou County, chairman of the Joint Legislative Space Committee, examines a model of the twin towers office building scheduled for construction on state-owned property with an area bounded by 15th and 17th and L and N Streets. The model was prepared by the State Office of Architecture and Construction, which is drafting preliminary plans. Each building, one for the Senate and one for the Assembly, will contain 27 floors, with some space available for other agencies. Collier estimates construction will take five years."
