Photograph caption dated March 8, 1958 reads, "This peaceful scene is on Acton road near Acton Junction and U.S. Highway 6 several miles from Palmdale. Evergreen trees temporarily turned white for occasion as country took on eastern United States winter look. Excellent skiing conditions prevail at all mountain resorts surrounding San Fernando Valley."; See image #00116876 for additional photo in this series.
