Photograph caption date stamped October 1, 1957 reads, "Vito Galasso Sr., incoming president of Pacoima Kiwanis Club, puts his arm around his son Vito Jr., 13, left, and Danny Accina, right. Accina received perpetual trophy for his team, which won Junior Coast League championship. Young Vito was unable to play during season because he was injured in Pacoima plane crash, however, he was given trophy as honorary team member."
