Rev. Robert B. Gooden, D.D., of the Los Angeles diocese and he will also confirm the rite of confirmation to 30 candidates... Ground-breaking for the building occurred just over a year ago. The $130,000 structure now being occupied includes church, chapel, administration center, class and meeting rooms, and guild rooms." Photograph caption reads, "Free-standing altar - Which pivots to serve the nave and chapel, is shown with, from left, Rev. Dennis J. Bennett, rector, and acolytes Ronnie Isley and Sid Sponsler. Photos of this unique altar were shown at the recent Episcopal convention in Hawaii and many delegates have viewed it en route home."
