Description
Photograph of a house shook off its foundation, San Francisco, 1906. The house on the right appears to lean to the right while the house on the left stands upright. The ground appears to have split between them. The left wall of the house on the right has detached from the rest of the house and is sloping into the opening. Slabs of wood and other pieces of the houses fall from either side into the exposed foundation. The sidewalk in the foreground is cluttered with dust and debris.
