Photographic portrait of a man "sword fishing" (fishing for sword fish?) on a boat, ca.1930. An old man is standing by the edge of a boat holding a fishing rod he has a belt around his waist with a kind of small metallic cup attached to it, which is supporting the base of the fishing rod. He is wearing a pair of lenses, a spotted tie over a Scottish-style buttoned shirt, and trousers. A hillside is visible in the background, as well as, the ocean which extends into the horizon. CHS-42691 and CHS-42690 are divergent perspectives of the same person and location of this photograph.
