Photograph caption dated May 7, 1955 reads, "It finally happened! Fred Mondragon, right, Van Nuys' classy 'B' sprinter, was beaten for the first time in Valley League competition in a sprint race. But it didn't 'hurt' because Paul Musacchio, left, did it and he's from Van Nuys too. This is finish of 220."
