There is a horse in the foreground looking to the left, and it is being held by two men sitting on a hill at left and looking at the reservation in the distance. The church is a long building at right and has a bell tower at left. The school is at left and is a wooden building. It has a bell mounted on wooden scaffolding at right. There are several large rocks between the buildings, and a very big rock formation in the background at center.
