Churches, synagogues and religious societies are appealing to their members to donate a pint of blood on either of these two days. Each donor will receive a certificate which may be exchanged for a ticket to the Los Angeles Lakers game with the Cincinnati Royals on March 4 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Ready to give blood are the Rev. Jerome Bouska of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church; Maurice Rosen, chairman, and the Rev. Robert Goodwin of Westminster Presbyterian Church. The blood bank is being held in cooperation with the Burbank Chapter of the American Red Cross at their headquarters, 1001 W. Magnolia Blvd."
