Description: A round pool with a fountain in the foreground, presumably located in front of the Sierra Madre Villa hotel in present-day Sierra Madre, California. Behind it, trees and landscaped grounds.
Title devised by cataloger based on image of fountain from a different perspective, see photCL 74 (590); date devised by cataloger based on history of photographer; T.G. Norton arrived in Southern California in 1882 and died in 1885. Handwritten identification on back of photo-mount reads "Carmelita." Date devised by cataloger. Photographer's imprint stamped on back of photo-mount.
