Image of ten women gathered on church steps carving gourds presumably at the First Presbyterian Church of Santa Monica on 3rd and Arizona in Santa Monica, California.
"Mrs. E.H. Sweetser."--text, handwritten in ink on verso. Title devised by cataloger; date approximated by cataloger based on style of dress in image. Santa Monica real estate developer Edward H. Sweetser and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church.
