Description
Documentation with the photo indicated the bill for the job should be sent to Peter Satori 287 W. Colorado with the subject heading of “Open house new car dealership.” The 1951 Pasadena city directory lists a Peter Satori of California Autos being at 297 W. Colorado. According to Cam Currier, radio historian and broadcaster himself the taller gentleman is Bill Garr. He was Program Director at KWKW in Pasadena in the early to mid 1950's. Their studios and transmitter were at 800 N. Sierra Madre Villa, where a housing development now stands. Bill Garr went on to call horse races on KIEV, Glendale. We are unable to identify the gentleman being interviewed, not do we have any further information about the car dealership. Any information about either would be appreciated.
