COREMO's press communique reports: Guerrilla fighters under the directives of the Commanding Headquarters of the Mozambique Revolutionary Committee (COREMO) have encountered heavy casualties on the Portuguese fascist troops in the Tete District, in the areas of Zumbo, Zumbue and Fingoe, more than 75 Portuguese soldiers have been wiped out and an enemy helicopter on a recconnaisance patrol from Tete was shot down More than two battalion of soldiers have been brought to Tete District and Victories in Niassa and Quelimane Provinces.
