Hans Peter Børresen and Caroline Børresen with their daughter, Ingeborg. (Photo in Berlin, 1864). Hans Peter Børresen (29.11.1825 - 23.09.1901). Danish Missionary. H. P. Børresen was ordained at the Church of Our Lady, Copenhagen, 21th November 1877. Together with Lars Olsen Skrefsrud he founded mission work in the North Eastern India 26/09/1867. A Danish support group was established: the Danish Santal Mission. - Caroline Wilhelmine Ernestine Hempel, born 22.03.1832 at Wittstock, Brandenburg, died 11.27.1914 at Ebenezer, Benagaria. Married 15.06.1855 in Berlin to Hans Peter Børresen.
