Photograph caption dated December 14, 1959 reads, "Frank Reitinger, Burbank Lions Club president, left, presents to Dr. Francis Chapton, Lions Eye Foundation president, check for $1,000 which was raised by Burbank club in White Cane Day campaign, and other philanthropic projects. Foundation supports and sponsors eye clinic at St. Joseph Hospital, Burbank, where eligible patients receive free eye examinations and treatments. Clinic has cared for 481 patients since 1955."
