Description
Photograph of a group portrait of Alexandria Hotel bellmen and employees, ca.1920. Fifteen men can be seen seated on the ground in two rows, while a line of thirteen men are visible standing behind them. Most of the men wear boots, pants with pinstripes down the sides, and buttoned-up jackets. Three younger boys seated in the front row wear similar outfits, but in a lighter color. They also wear caps reading, "Biltmore". One man in the center of the back row wears a suit and tie. The men appear to be standing on a roof, and buildings and hills are visible in the background. Harvey Didelous was bell captain.
