Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on September 21, 1962 states: "Eleanor Fisher, receptionist in the office of the state public works director, looks over a model of the proposed 2nd-3rd Streets freeway in Sacramento. The scale model also includes the state division of highways' interpretation of what the redevelopment area will resemble when completed. In the curve of the freeway between it and the Sacramento River is a model of what the Old Sacramento historic zone may resemble. The model is on display to the public in the Sate Public Works Building, 1120 N St."
