Description
Plates in photograph album : California views: [photograph album]. Plate B 1128, page 123. 2009-1384. View of railroad tracks running alongside a river, with a saw mill and hills in the distance. Korbel's Mills (Korbel Lumber Company) established by the Korbel brothers (Francis, Anton, and Joseph) in 1872 on land purchased along Russian River near what is now Korbel. Mill ran to about 1883, when brothers switched to vineyards.
