Description: This circa 1958 postcard shows the entrance to Country Club Centre, located at the southwest corner of Watt Avenue and El Camino Avenue. The 20-acre shopping center was opened in 1952 under the leadership of Joseph Blumenfeld, becoming at that time the largest shopping development in California involving chain stores.
