Description
These photographs of women from the Amache Incarceration Camp are found together on a page of what was perhaps a photo album. The women in photograph on the right are identified by name. The four women in the photograph on the left are not named, however they are also in the photograph on the right. Scrapbook page from Misao Okada’s album. Misao Okada’s scrapbook contains photographs, ephemera, notes, and correspondence documenting her time at Amache and a visit and reunion over 50 years later. The scrapbook also includes materials relating to reparations and events observing Japanese American incarceration.
