Description
Photograph shows a large outdoor stone hearth with an attached stone bench on the right side of the hearth. The hearth is outside in a redwood forest and is located at the YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu, in Big Basin, California. On verso: "EKS KODATONE" stamped in red ink. The YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu at Big Basin near Boulder Creek attracted about 150 girls for two week sessions in the summer. Big Basin became a state park in 1902. 1910; 1911; 1912; 1913; 1914; 1915; 1916; 1917; 1918; 1919 Scanned with Microtek Scanmaker 1000XL Pro; as a 600 dpi TIFF image in 24-bit RGB color. Auto Level image processing applied and compressed into JPEG format using Photoshop CS3.
