Description
Image shows view of the brick patio of the Oliver C. and Ruby Field residence located on lots 6, 7 & 8, block 1314, tract 6889 in Margate. The two-story, fourteen-room house has a shingle roof, three-car garage, two chimneys and patio entranceway. A long balcony overlooks the patio, which is decorated with several potted plants. Oliver C. Field founded the O.C. Field Gasoline Corporation in Huntington Beach. Ruby Field (1897-1998, née Hale), a local philanthropist, served on the Palos Verdes Library Board from 1934-1942 and 1951-1967.
