Photograph of a cast iron sewer line about to be placed in the main ship channel in Los Angeles Harbor, 1933. Two workers from the Department of Public Works can be seen in a rowboat at left with a sixty-foot length of twenty-inch cast iron sewer line held aloft by cables above them. A small sailboat can be seen in the harbor in the background in front of the wharf.
