Description
Sitting at the southeast corner of X Street and Riverside Boulevard, in circa 1960, is the Sacramento Buddhist Church Betsuin. In the foreground is the church chapel while, to the right of the frame, is its social hall. Between the two is the Japanese Garden which, after two area synagogue bombings in 1999, brought on a removal of the green space's koi pond and symbolic kansho bell, and its replacement with a collumbarium.
