Description
Poster celebrating the dedication of trolley car 2001, sponsored by Metro A Trust Fund Committee, with honorary conductors The John Bruzzone Family, Rod Diridon and Pat Restuccia. The trolley is painted green and red, and pictured in front of the Bank of Italy replica building at History Park. San Jose Trolley Corporation Board of Directors listed on right; Santa Clara County Transit District Board of Supervisors listed on left. Full list of sponsors at bottom. One paragraph background on the trolley in lower left: "Car 2001 was built in 1928 and ran on the Milan tramway system until the mid-1980s. It was donated in 1986 to the San Jose Trolley Corporation for restoration and returned to service on October 13, 1992."
