Photograph article dated September 29, 1962 partially reads, "An upset minded Van Nuys High football team scored a touchdown against powerful Birmingham High in the first 11 seconds of play last night, but it didn't shake the classy Braves. The Wolves received the opening kickoff, and on the first play from scrimmage quarterback Greg Wyatt hit halfback Jon Huss with a pass good for 57-yards and a touchdown, but Birmingham recovered to come back and grind out a 19-14 win over the game Wolves." Photograph caption reads, "Birmingham quarterback Dudley Schusterick sweeps right end - Van Nuys' defender Dave Altman moves in to make stop Friday night."
