Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Mountains are being moved in historic Lopez Canyon within the shadows of the San Gabriel mountains where a unique industrial development has been launched by Russell Moe and W. G. (Bill) Burns. Looking up the side of a mountain as it is being moved shows James Hughes, 30, riding his bulldozer down grade with tons of dirt fill rolling before giant blades that cut a path. Dirt fill is being utilized in street and highway work throughout the Valley. Photograph dated April 22, 1957.; See images #00144677 through #00144683 for all photos in this series.
