Photograph used for an article dated March 10, 1959; the caption reads "This picture shows Mrs. Mabel Monohan posing in front of her Burbank home. She was murdered March 9, 1953 in one of Valley's most brutal cases." The house is at 1718 Parkside Drive. Monohan, a widow who lived alone, was murdered on March 9, 1953 in a robbery attempt by Barbara Graham, Jack Santo and Emmett Perkins.
