„Tabase. Lehrer Dreyfus Silimela mit Singklasse“ (“Tabase. Teacher Dreyfus Silimela with singing class“). This photograph shows Silimela with twenty schoolchildren, standing or sitting in front of a school building. The teacher Dreyfus is sitting with three further girls at the front on a bench. He is wearing a light-coloured suit, the girls are dressed in light-coloured blouses and knee-lengthen skirts. Another eighteen schoolchildren are standing in three lines in front of the school-entrance. At the door a poster is hanging, “Tabase-Moravian School” written on it. At the very front, rightmost, a drum is standing. Richard Paul Moths, born in 1872 in Kösen (Germany), was a carpenter. In 1899 he married Helene Ledoux. From 1900 till 1948 he worked as a missionary in South Africa East (Silo, Baziya, Tabase). He died in 1950 in South Africa.
