The newspaper misidentified the Massachusetts Senator as Joseph F. Kennedy.
Photograph caption dated September 19, 1956 reads, "Medal pinned on by David J. McDonald, President of the Stelworkers [sic] Union, at union's convention in Shrine Auditorium."
