Description
A group of people on the beach in bathing suits with a Deauville life guard in front of the Deauville Club in Santa Monica, California. The Club Casa del Mar can be seen in the middle of the image and the edge of the Hippodrome on the Santa Monica Pier is at the right edge. A building with a sign that reads "Hotel and Apts" is seen in middle left of image.
Title devised by cataloger; date devised by cataloger based on general style of swimsuits in image and opening of the Deauville Club in 1927.
