Photograph of two ostriches pulling a cart from the Los Angeles Ostrich Farm, ca.1900. The two ostriches stand on the left harnessed to the wooden cart on the right. A man sits in the round seat on top of the cart with his boots placed on a wooden beam at the front of the cart. Four large wheels support the cart while the man drives the ostriches by holding the reins. Another ostrich can be seen on the far left behind a wooden fence. Trees surround a small, wooden structure which stands behind the man in the cart.
